Plitvice lakes are a unique jewel in our neighboring Croatia. They are listed on the UNESCO's list of World Heritage sites and almost a must for every traveler who comes to our part of the world. Because of an extraordinary natural phenomenon, the unity and harmony of the 16 lakes and their rare natural and cultural value are well-known worldwide.
The ride to the National Park will take us around 4 hours, so we should start our day a bit earlier. Arriving at Plitvice, we'll walk through these ancient woodlands led by our experienced leader. The admiration of the miracles of the nature will take us around 3 hours. Later in the evening we will come back happy and fulfilled.
The day will be a bit longer, however with a comfortable car and a private guide definitely worth doing.
