Situla - 2500 yrs. old comic book from Slovenia
Situla is a bucket shaped vessel, which was used for rituals and celebrations. It is a culmination of a figural art created by Iron Age Human. Today it is considered as the oldest Slovenian picture, comic book. More about the precious artefacts from this part of the history, you can hear on Ljubljana TV’s program LJUBLJANA4U. It was one of the deadliest conflicts in history, and paved the way for major political changes, including revolutions in many of the nations involved. It played an important role in the history of Slovenia as well.

Seeing an artisan cobbler at work is a very rare moment. Most of the shoes today are a product of a mass production, a product with no soul.
Once upon a long ago, it was much different. My grandfather was a cobbler, a master of the profession. As a young girl, I remember watching him making a new pair of shoes. For him, everything was important step, starting with a moment of choosing a leather for shoes. He was even thinking about the personality of the person who would be wearing them!
