Dear visitor

Slovenia is a young country that gained its independence from Yugoslavia in 1991. Yet this area had already been settled in very early times. We like to "brag" that our part of the "Old Continent" is the gate between the Mediterranean and Middle Europe.

I'm an university graduated historian and political scientist. Born in Sarajevo, but since 2003 I live in Ljubljana.

When I was a student, I was active in the Student Organization of the University of Ljubljana at the department of International relations. We were dealing with common problems foreign students were facing during their stay in Slovenia and at the same time we were showing them the beauties of Slovenia, through many excursions we organized. So actually I obtained my first experiences organizing trips and guiding excursions during my student years. At the same time I perfected my knowledge of English language.

After my graduation I decided to obtain the license for the tourist guide at the Chamber of Commerce of Slovenia, task which I achieved in 2012 (tourist guide number 1077). I am specialized in tours around the area of ex-Yugoslavia, especially in my home town Sarajevo and other towns in BIH. Regarding Slovenia I am most specialized for tours in Maribor, Ljubljana and Gorenjska region (Škofja Loka, Kranj, Bled, Radovljica).

I enjoy socializing with people and in sightseeing of cultural and historical attractions, but I’m not a big fan of modern 21st century technology. As a historian and a passionate tourist guide I’ll be glad to share all the interesting details from the Slovene past and describe all Slovene natural beauties and cultural sights and by doing so, making your stay in our country even more exciting.

One of my hobbies is sport journalism, with which I’m dealing with now for almost two decades.
